Email Integration Guide

Step-by-step guide to connecting and using email with neurals.

Connecting Gmail

Step 1: Navigate to Integrations

In your neurals dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations → Email.

Step 2: Click "Connect Gmail"

Click the "Connect Gmail" button. You'll be redirected to Google's secure OAuth page.

Step 3: Authorize Access

Sign in to your Google account and review the permissions:

  • Read email: To organize and categorize emails
  • Send email: To send draft replies
  • Modify email: To apply labels and organize

Click "Allow" to grant access. You can revoke access anytime from your Google Account settings.

Step 4: Confirmation

Once authorized, you'll be redirected back to neurals. Your Gmail account is now connected, and Tota can start organizing your inbox!

Using Email Features

📧 Inbox Organization

Tota automatically categorizes your emails into:

  • Important: Urgent or high-priority emails
  • Meetings: Meeting invitations and scheduling
  • Tasks: Emails requesting action items
  • Updates: Newsletters, notifications, updates
  • Promotions: Marketing emails, promotions
  • Social: Social media notifications

Emails are organized automatically, and labels are applied based on category.

✍️ Auto Draft Replies

Tota analyzes emails that need responses and generates intelligent draft replies:

  • • Drafts are saved to Gmail (not sent automatically)
  • • Review and edit drafts before sending
  • • All drafts are saved for your review
  • • Context-aware and professional responses

Email Settings

Organization Schedule

Configure how often Tota organizes your inbox. Options: Every 2 hours, Every 4 hours, Every 6 hours, or Daily. Default is every 4 hours.

Draft Reply Settings

  • • Maximum drafts per day (default: 10)
  • • Response tone (formal, casual, professional)
  • • Auto-draft for specific senders (whitelist/blacklist)

Category Rules

Customize categorization rules to match your preferences. Define custom categories, priority rules, and auto-labeling settings.

  • • The more you use it, the better it learns your preferences
